Why We've been on a break at Magnum's Models

I want to take this time to tell everyone that I took some time to deal with pressing family issues involving my Mother who recently passed away and that we will be returning to full normal operations as soon as possible.  I appreciate those of you who did know and contacted us with words of sympathy, etc during this most trying time.

Magnum's Models and Magnum Caliber Films will return to its dedication of working with models on both Photography and Management as well as continuing to work on Independent Films as well very soon.

The fact that this happened during our change  over process also affected getting things done and I assure you that will be returning to all normal operations and just ask you give us a little time to get everything back in order.

Sincerely,

James Magnum Cook, President
Magnum's Models/Magnum Caliber Films

Turning the blog over to Magnum

The Website is progressing, although it is slower than I would like.  But thanks to Magnum for pointing out that there is 5 years of data on the old site so I guess Rome wasn't built in a day and the Magnum's Models website won't be rebuilt in a day either.  I am turning over the Blog on the site to Magnum since I feel like I've tested it enough and my time will be better spent on other areas of the site.  I'm sure you'll find Magnum's blogs to be more interesting and related to the industry.

Thanks from the Magnum's Models Engineer,

Dee

Redirection

We're back to just one URL  www.magnummodels.com The redirection of the website from homstead to officelive was done Sunday night.  This only took about 5 minutes after a lot of time researching and reading on it.  We are very happy with the results.  We are still working on the new website at officelive but things will be simplier for all of us with just one site.

The next step is to transfer our Domain registration service provider from Homestead to another registration service provoder.  More on that later.

Newsletter setup on hold

I encountered some problems with the newsletter setup so for now it is on hold since I really need to get back to getting the website built and the domain transfered.

Newsletter set up

The model galleries are finished, except for the ones for the new models.  I'm taking a break from building galleries and investigating the use of email lists, etc. to build a subscriber list for a Magnum's Models Newsletter.  I need to do this, since on the form on the "contact us" page, I let it include the option to sign up for our newsletter.  Now I need to prepare for a newsletter.  I think a newsletter will be a good way to let users know how the website is changing and especially when it comes time to do the domain transfer and redirection.
