The Sloan Convention Center is the official Magnum's Models hotel and their hospitality during the convention proved why, yet again.  We believe all who attended the convention enjoyed this venue.  We know we at Magnum's models did.

Special Guest:

A number of special guest were invited and attended SO-MOD 2009, starting with our Co-host Ken Shelton, the owner of Hot Stuff magazine.  Hot Stuff Magazine is a northern Alabama Entertainment Magazine for the music scene and conducts a monthly modeling contest.  Readership extends from Northern Alabama into Nashville, TN.  An online edition is viewed around the world.  Ken Shelton also runs Kenco Talent Services.

We were extremely pleased with the attendance of special guest Joe Ripple.  Joe Ripple is an independent cult horror film director and owner of Time Warp Films.  He has directed the films Harvestors, Stakes,
Vampire Sisters, Crawler, and Dead Hunt!
He has carved quite a niche for himself in
the world of horror films.

Joe taught his class "How to Audition for
Independent Films" at SOMOD-2009.

Auditions were also held for the next Time
Warp Films movie, "Jebediah".
