The Southern Model Expo and Entertainment Convention

Site Abuse and Attendee Harrassment will not be tolerated! IP addresses and other data has been and will continue to be turned over to law enforcement agencies when attendees are contacted and solicited in a way that does not respect them as professional models.

If you feel that you have been solicited, harrassed, propositioned,etc. in any way that does not show you the respect that you deserve as a professional model, entertainer, photographer, spokesperson, etc., please use the contact us link above or contact Magnum directly. Please keep copies of email, etc. so that the data can be used if required to arrest and convict any individuals attempting to use this convention and site in an unprofessional or harrassing manner.

SO-MOD 2010 will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010 in Bowling Green, KY at the Sloan Convention Center and Holiday Inn.

If you would like a wheelchair accessible room, you may use the link above to make your reservation at the convention rate & retrieve a confirmation number. After retrieving your confirmation number, please follow up with a call to the hotel's front desk at 270-745-0088 to specifically request a wheelchair accessible room for your stay.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause but feel it is the best way to assure that those needing accessible rooms are assured that they will have them. There are a limited number of these rooms.

Convention Registration

All attendees should read the convention rules before attending. No refunds will be given even if you are asked to leave for breaking convention rules.

The So-mod expo is for over 18 attendees only. Models under 18 and their parents should check out the SO-MOD 2010 schedule link above. Other talent agencies hosting events in the hotel the same day for all age models are listed there.

Packages and Pricing for Pre-registration

All prices, other than general admission, will be double the day of the event.

Registration Instructions:

Early Bird Specials-All prices quoted by Magnum to attendees that have shown an early interest in the Expo will be honored. Please add to your cart accordingly. Use the "contact us" link if you have any questions.

All Others-Please select the appropriate admission fee according to your expected participation and add it to your cart. If you then wish to purchase other packages such as tables or pipe and drape setups add them to your cart along with your admission fee.

We will be accepting pre-registration payments by PayPal again this year. Credit card payments accepted via PayPal.

All Attendees will be contacted after payment is received with further data, including where to submit photos and website links to have them added to the attendee pages.

The Pipe and Drape is only available with "Photographer Admission". Those attempting to purchase pipe and drape with other admission fees will be charged the additional amount before they are allowed access to their pipe and drape plus access will be at the discretion of the host/sponser.

8 foot table rental fees:

Available at all admission rates. These tables are available to any vendor related to the modeling, film or entertainment industry. If you have questions about whether your business would be appropriate, please contact us via the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page. In addition to their table selection below, non photographer, model, or approved make-up artist should register as general admission above unless Magnum has approved otherwise.

As of July 14, 2010 there are only a limited number of available vendor tables.

General Attendee Information

General Admission

For people who are not models or photographers but would just like to check out the modeling world. For people who want to see what it is like to have their make-up done like a models. For people who enjoy a bikini, negligie, or character costume contest. Character costume contest will be open to all.

Pocket cameras such as cell phones and small digital cameras are permitted. Any larger cameras would be considered professional and must be approved by the sponser/host of this event. Professional type camera's are only permitted for photographers registered for the Expo since they are charged a higher admission rate. It will be at the discretion of the sponser and the photographer network tp approve any non-professional photographers with professional equipment. The only exception, as in past SO-MOD events, will be Journalism Students from Western Kentucky University and any News Media Corporations that attend.

Make-up Artist

For make-up artist who which to network with models and photographers, showcase their talents, and possibly developing relationships for working together on future shoots.

Also for make-up artist who just want to set up and do make-up for the models or others attending the convention.

Models

For models who wish to shoot and/or network with photographers.

Photographers

For photographers who wish to shoot and/or network with models.
